Parenting Class Mandated

Good news!

The Attorney General of Texas has been given the task of overseeing the p.a.p.a program. That’s the “Parenting and Paternity Awareness” class. It was mandated in 2007 but seems to have lost traction in recent years. That’s a shame because we need it now more than ever. Write your Congressman and ask that he or she support an entire class in “Healthy Me, Healthy Relationships, and Healthy Parenting.” Do it today for the children of tomorrow.

Dr. Cynthia Osborne with the LBJ School of Public Affairs will be in charge of coordinating the pre and post testing. This is important to ascertain that the program is being successful.
